HP-UX 11i is Hewlett-Packard's implementation of a UNIX-based operating system that delivers an end-to-end scalable, manageable, and secure infrastructure for developing, deploying and brokering mission-critical services. HP-UX 11i v1 executes on (HP PA-RISC based) HP 9000 platforms. HP-UX 11i v2 and newer versions of HP-UX 11i execute on (Intel Itanium 2 based) HP Integrity platforms as well as on HP 9000 platforms. HP-UX 11i v1 (HP-UX 11.11) has been certified to CC EAL4 against the Controlled Access Protection Profile (CAPP). HP-UX 11i v2 (HP-UX 11.23) has been certified to CC EAL4 augmented with Systematic FLaw Remediation (ALC_FLR.3) against CAPP and the Role Based Access Control Protection Profile (RBACPP). HP-UX 11i v3 (HP-UX 11.31) is the latest version of HP-UX 11i and is certified to CC EAL4 augmented with ALC_FLR.3 against CAPP and RBACPP. The evaluated configuration of HP-UX 11i v3 supports the hard partitioning (nPars) feature on HP 9000 and HP Integrity platforms. |
