Multiple Floppy Drives
Kilgetty 2K v1.0 only supports the use of a single floppy disk drive. If your system has more than a single floppy drive, all drives apart from the first drive must be disabled in BIOS or disconnected for Kilgetty 2K v1.0 to operate. Kilgetty 2K v1.1 supports multiple floppy disk drives.

Operating System Service Pack Upgrades
Installing an Operating System Service Pack on a Kilgetty installed computer will affect the operation of Kilgetty. There are no formal procedures for installing Operating System Service Packs. It will be necessary to seek advice from the Kilgetty Technical Support help desk.

USB Support
Kilgetty 2K v1.1 supports trusted USB devices.

Zip Drive Support
Kilgetty 2K offers a greater level of security in the attachment of peripherals that means Zip Drives are currently incompatible with Kilgetty 2K v1.0. It is recommended that CD-Rs are used in clear mode when performing backup operations. However, Kilgetty 2K v1.1 supports Zip Drives in the clear only.

Installation
For Kilgetty 2K v1.1, installation is performed via CD-ROM. For an upgrade from Kilgetty 2K v1.0 to v1.1, the upgrade must be done using a non-USB CD-ROM drive.

Floppy Drive access in Word
It is not possible to write to a floppy drive directly from Microsoft Word. The way around this is to write to the Hard Drive, exit Word, then move the file to the floppy drive.
