CLAS membership also allows a Consultant to work towards the Infosec Training Paths and Competencies (ITPC) qualification and all CLAS members are recommended to achieve this government recognised standard. Further information about this qualification is available from the ITPC website

All CLAS applicants are required to provide, as part of their application, evidence against a Core Competency Framework

As of 1 October 2003, the mandatory training course provided to new CLAS members will encompass all of the training elements required for ITPC qualification

As of 1st October 2006 all CLAS members will be required to gain either the Practitioner or Accreditor ITPC certification within 2 years of gaining membership.
