Products that could have been certified under the CCTM service may be suitable for evaluation under the new Commercial Product Assurance (CPA) scheme if they meet the schemes requirements.

Service Description

The CESG Claims Tested Mark (CCTM) scheme provides a government quality mark for the public and private sectors based on accredited independent testing, designed to prove the functionality claims made by Vendors. Testing is carried out by commercial Test Houses. CESG in the role of Decision Authority validated the claims in the ICD (IA Claims Document) and Test Report documents and, if successful, issues a certificate to the Vendor. Registration Fees are charged by CESG which paid for the CESG effort. In addition a fee was charged by the Test House to cover product testing and related evaluation activities.
